Welcome to the Richards Memorial Library’s 125th Anniversary Digital Archives submission page.
One hundred and twenty-five years ago, the cornerstone of the Richards Memorial Library was laid. In celebration, the Library staff and Trustees along with BiblioBoard invite local residents to submit photos, documents and oral histories of their remembrances of the library. The contributions will be curated into collections that can be shared with people all over our country.
Submitting Your Digital Content
In order to be added to our collection, your contribution should reflect something you remember about your experiences at the Richards Memorial Library (or the branch in Attleboro Falls.) It can reference a particular staff member, event, book or even homework assignment. The contribution can be from individuals, families or groups (such as a Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop).
It is also important that you either created or own the rights to the item and can assign those to us, and that it is not the copyrighted work of another.
Textual documents can be PDFs. You can either save as PDF or print to PDF from most word-processing programs. Image scans should be high definition (at least 300 dpi, 600 preferred). They should not be photos of photos (2nd generation) or scanned from newspapers or books.
If we have questions or concerns about your submission we will contact you. If you would like help scanning or have any additional questions, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
